When it came down to picking my audience, I decided to write for people who don\u2019t like to read.  I think that many presume that people who don\u2019t like to read are just that.  Or maybe, they aren\u2019t that smart or they\u2019ve learned to pursue lazier entertainment.  My hypothesis is that many non-readers may have an anxiety or even a disorder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was a terrible reader when I was a kid.\u00a0 My mind would drift \u2026 often.\u00a0 Sometimes, I would do this out of boredom.\u00a0 Other times, the story made me think of a related topic and my mind would want to spend some (possibly many) moments thinking on them.\u00a0 Looking back, I\u2019m less harsh on myself for changing tracks of thought.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t that what books are supposed to do?\u00a0 Aren\u2019t they supposed to get you thinking deeper on a topic?\u00a0 However, when you had to get x-amount of pages to be read by Monday, this practice was often less appreciated by my teachers and put me into some late nights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were you an avid reader, or were you dragged to a pile of books that you dreaded?\u00a0 What would you think would help the leery reader? \u00a0\u00a0I\u2019m definitely interested, and it would help me in designing future books.\u00a0 In my own story, I had to take a step back before going forward.\u00a0 I read less and easier products before I was able to read the more sophisticated works. \u00a0I think that it worked, since it got me some degrees and many college credits.\u00a0 I even diverse and downright eclectic materials.\u00a0 What made you get over any reading reservations?\u00a0 If you would like to help me out, please put them on my contact page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
